Big Brother 11 Episode 17 - CBS
The Big Brother house has seen a lot of drama over the past few days, but CBS decided to hold back a number of things and present their Sunday episode as normal.

After the previous episode of Big Brother, where Jeff decided to use the mystery power, the house has been in turmoil. Jeff used the mystery power to change the nominations that the head of household (Chima) had made. He took down Lydia and Russell from the nomination block, and put up Jessie and Natalie in their place. After the vote was made, Jessie was evicted from the Big Brother house, leaving several house guests upset about what had happened.

New Big Brother 11 head of Household is Michele

In the Big Brother 11 head of household competition following the Jessie eviction, Michele won the head of household position. She did so with an impressive performance in a trivia oriented head of household competition, and served as one of the people who is a wild card in the house. Nobody knew what to expect from Michele after she won the head of household, and where her loyalties would lie when she was put in the position to nominate the two people for eviction.

Mourning Jessie being evicted from the Big Brother house

Several of the house guests pulled out a bottle of wine to mourn the “loss” of Jessie in the house, where Chima, Natalie, and Lydia began drinking and crying together about how much they missed having Jessie in the house. All three of them were in tears, with Kevin in the group hanging out, but getting annoyed that they were crying about someone just being evicted from a game. Kevin even stated in his diary room chats that it was quite annoying that Jessie had nominated Chima and that Jessie had voted for Lydia to be evicted.

The mourning fest turned into an attack session on other people, where Lydia began attacking Jordan for “not standing up for what was right”, Natalie attacking America for giving Jeff the mystery power, and all three of the girls frustrated that Jeff had basically made a strategic move without consulting them.

The Big Brother Have and Have Not Competition

This weekly competition is a challenge to decide who will eat well during the week, and who will end up being on slop and no privileges for the week. This week’s challenge was competed in teams of two, with the teams consisting of Kevin and Lydia, Jordan and Jeff, Chima and Natalie, and Russell and Michele. This week was a little different than normal, as every team would be working together, forcing nobody to go on slop for the full week.

The challenge involved the pairs sliding into a pile of goop (a casserole) and then coming out to figure out how to mix and match pre-made and unmarked casseroles with their ingredients listed on a day of the week. Guessing them correctly meant that the houseguests would have those foods for that day, as well as a correlating luxury during the week. It was a messy competition, showing the house guests getting grossed out by the combinations of foods in the casseroles.

As a result of the competition, the house guests were awarded with food for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in a nicely done competition. They also won a BBQ grill to use and no hot showers for the week. Though there was a lot of bickering during the challenge, the house guests seem to have worked very well with each other.

Big Brother Nomination Ceremony

During the Episode 17 Big Brother nomination ceremony, Michele was in charge of choosing the two nominations for the week. Michele selected Chima and Natalie to be the two nominees for eviction.
